This season’s camp dates are Monday 19 to Friday 23 Jan 2026. (inclusive)
The Live-In started in the early 1970’s. It now caters for up to 60 participants between the ages of 7 and 17.
It is 5 days of sailing during the day, and a giant (supervised) sleep over by night. Throughout the week, sailors get to hone in on their sailing skills while being taught by our volunteer instructors. With evening activities, nightly activities and shared meals (classic NSC community style) the week is a highlight for our young members.
Absolute beginners are welcome at Live-In, but places are strictly limited. Much like the spring intake, all materials are provided excluding wearables (e.g. swimmers, wetsuits, life jackets water shoes etc).
Following Live-In, Learn-to-Sail particpants are encouraged to continue in our LTS program to eventually graduate into Green Fleet, where they will learn to sail their own boat independently. At this point there may be an extra fee to cover coaching until the end of the season (April 2025).
If you have any other questions regarding Learning to Sail, or the Camp itself please email training@nsc.asn.au.
When bookings open, they will appear on a separate webpage and Event, with new broadcast via the Club's Bulleting newsletter.
