IMPORTANT!
If you have been a member of our club (or any sailing club) across Australia in the past few years, your details (including Australian Sailing Number) should be in our system. If you don't know your Australian Sailing Number, you can look it up here: AS Number Finder
The registration process starts by selecting the membership option (new or returning) and completing the details for the PRIMARY individual. The PRIMARY member can pay for Membership and Learn to Sail Add-ons for all the family, for a single invoice, then register the rest of the family as non-fee paying members. (Yes it is crazy, we are dealing with software used by Australian Sailing and many other sports in Australia which requires individual membership registration even if you are a family.)
New members should refer to the Membership application PDF(short version) or the Membership pathways 2025-26 pdf if you want to do it the long way! Still feeling challenged contact Gus Kernot - training@nsc.asn.au.
Additional fees (for the full year) show as an Add-On during registration, and include
- Boat registration $130
- Boat storage (racking) $320-670
- Junior Learn to sail - Juniors $700
- Adult / Family Learn to Sail - $480+reducing scale for extra members
The Club has replaced the $200 voluntary maintenance levy with a Fund Raising page. This shows current projects and you can now donate at any time and for any amount. Tax Deductible Receipts will be issued directly by Australian Sailing Foundation. Contribute now and contribute often!
An invoice total for all items selected is created, prior to payment.
Credit card fees are now being absorbed by the club, and payment by direct credit remains an option.
Members seeking storage for the first time should consult with the Racking Officer racking@nsc.asn.au prior to selecting a boat storage option, as places may not be available.
Detailed instructions can be downloaded (from below) which explains the self registration process, and the process tree shows menu options for common scenarios.
