Fund Raising

The 2025-26 season marked the 60th anniversary of opening the Northbridge club house, in 1965. It was built with a combination of fund raising and volunteer labour. Over time many parts of the club house have been replaced, repaired or improved.  Now we are looking at two major pieces of infrastructure that require replacement - the pontoon and the deck.

As a not-for-profit entity Northbridge Sailing Club has limited financial resources and embarks on regular fund raising campaigns, especially for major works.

Tax Deductible Donations can be made via the Australian Sports Foundation

The Pontoon campaign is now closed and, with a matched grant from Transport for NSW, fully funded the new pontoon which was commissioned in late December 2025.

The Deck campaign seeks to address replacement of the surface of the deck and much of the underlting substructure. The Northbridge clubhouse is supported by 120 piles, and joists and bearers are often wet following king tides and boat wash, and degrade over time. The link to this campaign is here

Another way to help but be quick!

Through a special arrangement with the University of Adelaide, we have sourced a smooth drinking granache-shiraz blend 60th Anniversary NSC Racing Red  that you can access directly from the vigneron for a very special price, with all proceeds going to raising funds for our much needed marine infrastructure.

Prices are $170 for one case, and $320 for two cases (yes that's less than $14 per bottle, including GST ).  To purchase, please complete this online form to confirm your order and your pick-up or delivery preferences (limited postcodes). You can pay at the Canteen, cash or via bank transfer.
