Your membership Race Registration includes race entry fees for the more than 50 races planned for each season except the Moths (which routinely race only one race on Sundays so they have fewer races). If you are not already in SailSys, you will be asked to setup a personal login and provide email, SMS and an emergency contact. You do not need to provide any additional information (eg medical info)
Once you are on SailSys, you enter your boat as Boat Admin. The minimum boat entry information required on SailSys is your boat class and sail number.
For Lasers (ILCAs) you must include in your entry ALL the sail numbers you use with your boat (eg your ILCA6 sail number and your ILCA7 sail number if different). List them in the relevant text box.
For NS14s and MG14s, please enter two boats - an NS14 with your NS14 sail number, and an MG14, with your MG14 sail number. This will give you flexibility to sign-on with whichever configuration you want on the day - and not confuse the race officer
The club requires you to have at least 3rd party insurance so you can upload your Certificate of Currency if you wish
We have developed a guide to SailSys to assist you in entering races, managing your personal data and boat information - and particularly for parents, identifying who is skippering the boat so their results can be collated.
To enter for the season - click on the Race Entry (above) and refer to the guide below if you are having problems.
Each Sunday we are racing, the race officer will initiate sign-on via SMS. This is not mandatory for this season but by advising you are, or are not intending to race, this does simplify their volunteer job so please assist if you can.
Results will be made available as soon as possible. Results are organised by Annual Pointscore series races (ie Club Championships, Spring and Summer Series) as well as non-pointscore events (e.g. Willoughby Shield, Commodore's Cup, President's plate).
