In addition to our well known Junior Learn to Sail program that runs all season, we also run intensive Family and Adult Learn to sail courses in October and November each year. Dates vary each year but can be held over school holidays or long weekends.
On completion, families can continue to sail together by renting one of our Pacers or engaging an instructor for extra tuition, reducing the cost by sharing with another family.
Alternately, parents can join our CATS (Continuing Adult Trainee Sailors) to get on water mentoring on selected Sundays, with the kids transitioning into the Junior Learn to Sail program (subject to vacancies). We don't force you all into the one dinghy and risk a family feud ("I'm steering" / "No, it's my turn!") if you prefer to follow a different pathway. We're flexible!
This lets parents refresh skills if they've previously sailed, or get a feel for what their children are doing if they haven't.
